Homemade Egyptian style cheese salty but creamy, nice on toast or with honey and fresh fruit for breakfast.
Well it tastes like Ricotta, not much taste. Went for a slightly creamy style drained for 7 hrs! Going to press and salt it now and try in a few days and again in 1 month.
Second attempt at making this cheese, a Turkish version of Mozzarella with a lot of twisting and stretching involved, of the cheese, not me! Made some Mozzarella at the same time, not much difference in taste, but the Chechil is firmer, great to grate on pizza.
