366 Days of Cheese
Second attempt at making this cheese, a Turkish version of Mozzarella with a lot of twisting and stretching involved, of the cheese, not me! Made some Mozzarella at the same time, not much difference in taste, but the Chechil is firmer, great to grate on pizza.
Creamy French goats cheese, nice addition to poached eggs and beans for lunch!
Good strong cheese, quite creamy, rather than crystalline.
Shan’t be having any more of that, lucky I had some Laphroaig to take the taste away!
What a lovely Cheshire cheese, quite mature too, well rounded flavour, quite tangy, made a great cheese and tomato sandwich. This cheese was bought from Gosforth Simply Fresh.
Lockdown cheese and onion pie from the Boot Inn, surprised to find it mad with standard cheddar and not with Lancashire as my Mum always made it. I was hungry so forgot to take a picture!
Smoked version of the Cumberland farmhouse cheese from Thornby Moor Dairy. Lovely light smokey flavour on this super crystalline cheese. Smoked in their own smokehouse. Well worth a visit once we can travel again.

Raw milk goats cheese, pretty mature, and quite fiesty, did not like it on its own, but ok on a biscuit.
