Not the best cheese ever but added some colour to the pizza.
Cheese from Cumbria. It was ok, but less flaky than expected, and a little greasy when eating, not helped by the bacon, chips egg and beans on my lunchtime sandwich!
A very sheep’s week! This is a fine sheep’s cheese in the style of feta but with a bit more body. From Shepard’s purse.
Made by Leagrams for the sheep milk company, I thought it might be the same as Leagrams sheep cheese from the other day, but this is sweeter, just as good though.
The cheese was nice, but the fruit cake addition was a bit underwhelming more like peel and the odd raisin.
Beautiful cheese, melted into risotto. Had to be quick before I ate it all!
From the Sheep milk company. I was going to add this to a sauce for tea, but it is far too good for that. The cheese is made with sheep milk and has a slightly granular character. What makes it great is the quality of the smoking. This has been done to perfection. Someone knows what they are doing!
Cheap cheese can sometimes be good cheese, this is very nice, with a creamy citrusy taste, used as a dressing on a warm lamb salad.
Soft and pleasantly Lancashire like but give me a hard lump of crumbly Bobs knobs any day!
I quite liked this, Sarah not so much!
