Ideal filling for a baked potato, nice flavour not very spicy, melted so would be good on toast too.
At last a lovely Cumbrian blue cheese and whisky
Time to go Dutch! First time cheese for me, comes in handy slices so no knife required. Big holes in the cheese so the slices weight less, mind you if you then put 2 slices on your sandwich… Quite a pleasant cheese for something pre sliced, especially on homemade bread with salad cream and tomato. Supplied by The Aldi.
Sarah found this cute little pack of Castillo cheeses, so that is me sorted for the next five days. Although I have just noticed that one of them is with pineapple, which sounds just weird. Also this is the first day when I am not really feeling like cheese. To counteract this I will need port, which I have just heard being poured!
Goats cheese Rarebit for tea at Brook House tonight. Along with some lovely beetroot chutney and Eskdale relish
Cooking chicken fajitas for tea, going to add the cheese to the wrap.
Bit disappointed in this, opened the pack to find it was mainly rind. Maybe that is the trouble with buying small bits of cheese. Very hard cheese, dry and perhaps over smoked.
