A first time cheese for me, but I will need to try it again as it was incorporated into a sauce in an Italian restaurant called La Fontana . Great little restaurant if you find yourself in Blackpool.
I like this, a nice hard white sheeps milk cheese from Spain, via Aldi.. It has a lovely almost fizzy tang on the tongue! Easy to pair this with a a drop of single malt Caol Ila.
This will not be the last Brie style cheese to feature on this list, makes a good Brie and bacon sandwich on homemade foccacia bread at Brook House Inn!
Country Range Mature Cheddar as supplied by Caterite. A good all round cheese, not too mature, still makes a good sandwich, ideal with a bit of pickle, and should always be on your plate if you are sneaking a late night snack, sweet dreams!
No not cheese with fruit in shouts Phil! Sorry Phil, i like a bit of fruity cheese, especially around Christmas this one was from Aldi I think, goes well with a nice drop of white port.
