Paprika smoked Solway

A simple sandwich, with an uncomplicated cheese, nice balance of flavour between the fairly mild cheese and the gentle smokiness of the paprika.

Lovely Brie, smooth , creamy, delicate. The raw milk gives a nice farmy fruity note. Really good.
Pretty peppery! I like the Beckfoot cheese from Mawbray, it takes on other flavours well. To be critical it is a bit overwhelmed by the pepper, but I like pepper.
Raw cows milk cheese from Michael and Mary Davenport of Market Rasen. Nice blue Brie type cheese, creamy with a nice blue vein. Rind is a bit pungent giving an edge to this cheese.
Unpasteurised cows milk washed rinsed cheese from the Cotswolds. The first of my cheese selection from @the courtyarddairy.
The cheese is soft and squidgy almost melting in the fridge. Rich creamy flavour, summer meadows, slight acidity balancing the richness. A great cheese to start the month and finish the first 1/3 of my journey. Well done @davidjjowett
Edderside melt
Mozzarella type cheese from Mawbray dairy. Grated easily for our pizzas.
Firm cheese with a definite smoky flavour. Having smoked various food stuffs in my time with varying degrees of success, I think the smoking still needs some refinement.
Quite a feisty smell to this one, and after earlier back experience with black cheese, it was with a little trepidation that I brought it to my mouth!
Nothing to worry about though, tasty soft goats cheese, plenty of goaty flavour with a sharp citrusy finish.
Seriously good cheese, definitely my favourite so far this month, it really is like a Gouda made with goats cheese, lovely firm almost rubbery texture with goaty flavour not overpowering just right. Well done Mawbray cheese company
Plenty of garlic in this semi soft cheese, I like the texture too. Made in Maryport by Mawbray cheese company.
