Ok but not very figgy and the honey is a bit shy too.
Good smoky flavour to a really nice cheddar from the cheese wedge company. Made a lovely sandwich with some classic accompaniments.
A bit of cheese repurposing, this was the sheep cheese company soft cheese, preserved in olive oil with lemon thyme. Helps keep the cheese once opened and gives a great lemony kick to the fresh cheese flavour.
Creamy Brie very light with a pleasant rind.
After a previous experience with charcoal cheese I was a little anxious about this one. It turned out better than expected, but I still did not like the gritty texture.
Very pleasant feta from Aldi
Staffordshire cheese company. Not too many producers in Staffordshire. So it was great to get in touch with these guys and get a couple of lovely cheeses sent up. This one is quite strong with a good tangy taste, quite creamy in texture for a hard cheese. Went well with a pint at the end of a busy night.
Did not like this, saved by the Eccles cake
Mixed chilli cheese from the cheese wedge company. Plenty of chilli flavours going on with a nice background of cheddar cheese.
